Last weekend I was taking a walk down to a neighbor’s house and I saw a patch of boysenberries. I was able to come back each day last week and pick some berries. By Friday I had enough berries to bake 3-dozen muffins and on my Sabbath I made up trays of muffins to take to some of our neighbors who can really use an extra meal. Well on the first day back from Spring Break I arrived home after working at two service sites and fighting the crowds at the transit stations feeling overwhelmed to be back in the business of my life during mission year. Today I’m going to be saying goodbye to my computer. yes, its official. I’m not in school anymore and I won’t need a computer to do mission year tasks. so I am letting my dad computer sit for a year.

Then before I knew it I got an interview and it went great then I got a letter of commitment and everything went well. Now I’m waiting to be placed on a team. I never pictured myself doing urban services. EVER.
