Mission Year could not exist without the help of other partners and organizations. Below is just a small sample of the people that help the Mission Year program run.

Organizational Partners

Christian Community Development Association (CCDA)

The mission of CCDA is to inspire and train Christians who seek to bear witness to the Kingdom of God by reclaiming and restoring under-resourced communities.

FCS Urban Ministries

FCS Urban Ministries is a Christian community development organization that partners with declining inner-city neighborhoods to bring about social, economic and spiritual rebirth.

The Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education (EAPE)

EAPE’s goal is to help build the Kingdom of God by combining evangelism and social justice in the name of Jesus.

The Fund for Theological Education (FTE)

FTE offers support to help gifted young people explore and respond to God’s calling in their lives.

Word Made Flesh

Word Made Flesh is called and committed to serve Jesus among the most vulnerable of the world’s poor. This calling is realized as a prophetic ministry for, and an incarnational, holistic mission among the poor. We focus our energy to make Jesus known among the poor while reconciling the church with the poor.

Urban Mentors Network

This mentorship program Oakland, CA focuses on youth, networking, and building positive community. Mission Year partners with Urban Mentors Network to support the Urban Leaders program in Oakland.

Educational Partners

Eastern University

Eastern University is a Christian university dedicated through teaching and learning, scholarship, service, spiritual formation, student development and stewardship to the preparation of undergraduate, theological and graduate students for thoughtful and productive lives of Christian faith, leadership and service.

Eastern provides academic credit for team members doing the Mission Year program.

George Fox University

George Fox is Oregon’s nationally recognized Christian university, providing students with personal attention, global opportunities to learn and serve, and a supportive community that encourages academic rigor and spiritual growth.

George Fox and Mission Year have partnered together to offer Portland Semester to GFU students.
